Fearghas graduated from the University of Dundee Dental School in 2008.
Fearghas’ first job as a dentist was in Oban, having gone to primary school in the area. After time away travelling and working abroad, Fearghas and his wife Natalie decided to settle in Oban and have started their family here.
Fearghas invests significantly in his own development and is constantly on the look out for advanced techniques and new developments in dentistry to better serve his patients. In particular he has developed signifiant expertise in CEREC one-visit crowns and aesthetic dentistry including crowns, veneers, bridges, composite bonding and restoring implants.
Complex treatment plans require good teamwork and the expertise of all members of the dental team to deliver an excellent result.
Realising that some of these innovations require private dentistry, Fearghas works closely with his patients to ensure they make the best possible treatment choices within their budget. Fearghas is also a registered Denplan dentist
He is an excellent communicator and his listening skills and empathy make sure his patients receive exceptional care.
In his spare time Fearghas is usually running around after his boys and has recently been raising money for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity and arranged a child CPR event in Oban. He also enjoys cycling and swimming.
